For those who - like me- have not received the latest commentary by Ben Whiterington of 1 PeterLetters and Homilies for Hellenized Christians Volume Two: A Social-Rhetorical Commentary on 1 -2 Peter (InterVarsity Press, )432pp. I just discovered that there are now two excerpts available on the publisher's website:General introduction to 1 and 2 Peter.
